Yamaha YM-6100 'Concert Grand' Marimba - 5 Octaves with Honduran Rosewood Tone Bars

 

The Yamaha YM-6100 marimba is a collaboration between marimbist Keiko Abe and Yamaha's designers, boasting 40 years of development. The rosewood tone bars are expertly selected and tuned using Yamaha's unique method, while the white and darkwood frame is beautifully crafted and height adjustable. Forward facing tunable resonators from C16 to F33 offer easy fine tuning and control over pitch and tone. The overall structure and weight have been improved, making assembly and transport more convenient for musicians.
