Bowl Design

Every detail of the bowl has been examined and refined — bowl size, the bearing edge shape where the head contacts the bowl, and the diameter of the aperture in the base. Pedal Adjustment Clutch (PAC) System

The bowl sits in a Floating Mount suspension ring, isolated from contact with any other part of the instrument. That isolation prevents the frame from distorting the bowl and allows the head to oscillate freely, which is central to the instrument's tone, resonance and pitch clarity.

Mobility and Setup

Large main castors are supplemented by a third castor positioned below the pedal, letting the instrument glide smoothly across any stage or rehearsal space. All castors adjust over a 25mm height range using the supplied tuning key or an Allen wrench, allowing precise control over both instrument height and head angle — easily managed by one person, whether you're set up for standing or seated playing.

A one-touch lock mechanism on the main castors makes setup fast and secure, with an auxiliary brake on the pedal castor for an additional, more positive lock when you need the instrument completely stationary.

The tuning indicator relocates to either side of the instrument for German or American/international setups, and a tuning key/wrench holder is built into the frame opposite the tuning gauge.
