Yamaha HXREXII HEXRACKII Drum Rack Expander – Ex Display

The Yamaha HXREXII is the expansion rack for Yamaha’s HEXRACKII drum rack system.

It is designed to work with the Yamaha HXR2LII main rack, adding an extra side section and turning the setup into a three-leg rack. That gives you more space for toms, cymbals, percussion accessories and other hardware, while keeping the kit cleaner and less cluttered than using lots of separate tripod stands.

This is an Ex Display unit, so it may show light cosmetic signs from being displayed, handled or assembled in-store. It is still a good way to get a proper Yamaha HEXRACKII expansion section at a lower price than a brand-new boxed item.

What Is It Actually For?

The HXREXII expands the size of your Yamaha HEXRACKII drum rack.

It is useful if your current rack setup is starting to feel cramped, or if you want to add more cymbals, toms, electronics, percussion pads or accessories without filling the floor with extra stands.

When combined with the HXR2LII, it creates a three-leg rack layout, giving you more usable mounting space around the kit while keeping the whole setup organised.

It is a much neater solution than simply adding more separate cymbal stands around the kit.

It is also compatible with Yamaha System Hardware and 22.2mm diameter hardware, giving you plenty of options for tom arms, cymbal holders and other Yamaha-compatible hardware.
