The CT-8000 Series by Yamaha are expertly constructed using the innovative Yamaha Air-Seal System and YESS Mount System, resulting in a superior drum with the distinctive sound that Yamaha is known for. Available in 8 sizes, from 6 inches to 16 inches, this series features a new size structure adopted from the flagship CT-900 Series, resulting in a classical tone and lingering depth that sets these drums apart from traditional concert toms. The CT-8000 Series offers a full set with a solid attack and brilliant tone, allowing for a higher level of expressivity. With a wide tuning range and the Yamaha Enhanced Sustain System (YESS) providing minimal mount-to-shell contact, these drums deliver increased resonance, dynamic range, and sustain. The shells are produced utilizing the Air-Seal System, ensuring they remain round for a pure fundamental tone. Available in a darkwood stain, the CT-8000 Series is ideal for all symphonic situations.
