A proper bit of Pearl hardware, this ex-demo Pearl Gyro-Lock snare stand is a solid, professional-grade stand with a much more substantial feel than many basic snare stands.
The main feature is Pearl’s Gyro-Lock tilter, which allows the basket to move freely forwards, backwards and from side to side rather than limiting you to fixed notched positions. Once you have the drum exactly where you want it, the mechanism locks firmly into place.
The adjustable three-arm basket uses padded rubber supports to hold the drum securely, while the heavy-duty double-braced tripod gives the stand plenty of stability.
This stand has been used for display/demo purposes and does show some cosmetic signs of handling and use, but remains a very solid piece of Pearl hardware.
