Description

The Stagg UPC-500 is a simple, practical case for keeping your guitar pedals together, protected and ready to use.

If you have a few loose pedals, patch leads and power cables floating around in a gig bag, rehearsal room or bedroom floor setup, this is the sort of thing that quickly starts to make sense. Rather than setting everything up from scratch every time you play, you can attach your pedals inside the case with the included Velcro strip, keep them together, and carry the whole setup in one go.

It is not a huge touring flight case, and it is not trying to be. It is a medium-weight moulded ABS pedal case that gives you a tidy, affordable way to organise a small effects setup.

What Is It Actually Useful For?

The UPC-500 is useful if you are running a compact pedal setup and want something more organised than loose pedals on the floor.

It gives you an internal space of approximately 500mm x 255mm x 90mm, which is enough for a small board-style setup depending on the size of your pedals. A few standard compact pedals should fit comfortably, but larger wah, volume, multi-effects or oversized pedals will obviously take up more room.

The inside is padded with high-density foam for extra protection, while the ABS outer shell, aluminium edging and chrome hardware give it a more solid feel than a soft pedal bag. The moulded handle makes it easy to carry, and the rubber feet mean it can be stood vertically when needed.

How Do the Pedals Attach?

Pedals attach to the inside of the case using the included Velcro strip.

That means you can set up your pedals in the order you like, keep them in place, and remove the lid when you are ready to play. It is a much quicker and tidier approach than placing pedals individually on the floor every time.

Power supply and pedals are not included, so you will need to use your own pedal power supply, patch cables and pedals.

Who Is It For?

This is a good choice for guitarists, bassists, students, teachers and gigging players with a small pedal setup.

It is especially useful if you play rehearsals, lessons, church, open mic nights, school performances or local gigs and want to keep your pedals together without investing in a more expensive pedalboard system.

If you have a large pedalboard, lots of oversized pedals or need a heavy-duty touring case, you will probably need something bigger. But for a compact, affordable effects case, the Stagg UPC-500 does the job nicely.

Not Sure If This Is the Right Case?

Before ordering, lay your pedals out and measure the space they take up. This case gives you around 500mm x 255mm of usable internal area, but the exact number of pedals it will hold depends on the size and shape of your pedals.

If you are using standard compact pedals, it should suit a small setup well. If you are using larger pedals, multi-effects units or a wah pedal, check the measurements carefully first.

If you are unsure whether your pedals will fit, get in touch and we will help you work it out.
