Stagg AC-XFPMH Male Mono Jack to Female XLR Adaptor – Pack of 2
Safe and secure checkout
The unbalanced version of Stagg's handy XLR adaptor pack — same compact matt chrome build, same pack of two, but this time with a male mono (TS) 6.35mm jack rather than a stereo TRS connector.
This one converts a female XLR input into a male mono jack connection, or lets you feed an unbalanced mono signal into an XLR socket. It's the adaptor you reach for when you're connecting a standard instrument-level signal — a guitar, a keyboard output, a DI box, or similar unbalanced source — into equipment with XLR inputs.
When Would You Use This?
The most typical scenario is running an unbalanced mono source into a mixer channel, audio interface or PA input that only has XLR sockets available. It's also useful when your cable terminates in XLR but the input you need to hit is a standard jack socket — plug this in and the problem goes away.
It's worth understanding the difference between this and the AC-XFPMSH (the TRS stereo version): if you're working with balanced, symmetrical signals — studio equipment, balanced line-level gear — you want the TRS version. If you're dealing with standard unbalanced mono connections like instrument cables and most guitar-level sources, this is the right one.
