Sherwood Drums - An Introduction to the Drum Kit

This is a great first book for beginners or drummers working towards their grade initial/1 exams. It gives detailed descriptions on topics such as: time, rhythms, rests, fills etc. and is a fantastic way of starting you off on the drum kit!

It is split into two halves: Snare drum followed by full drum kit, and can be worked through in which ever way works best for the learner and teacher.

*it is advised to be worked through with a teacher as it does not discuss technique - this is because every drummers technique varies slightly.
