This pack includes 10", 12" and 16" Clear Pinstripe heads for your toms, plus a 14" Coated Ambassador head for your snare. It is a great choice for a more traditional rock-sized kit with two rack toms and a 16" floor tom, giving you that classic controlled Pinstripe tom sound while also refreshing the main playing surface on your snare.

Pinstripes have been one of Remo’s most popular drumheads for years, and for good reason. They are durable, punchy, easy to work with, and they help tame unwanted overtones without needing loads of extra dampening.

What Do They Actually Sound Like?

The Clear Pinstripe tom heads give you a focused, punchy tone with plenty of mid-range and low-end weight. Compared with a more open single-ply head, they have a shorter sustain and a more controlled response, which makes them especially useful if your toms are ringing on too much or getting lost in the mix.

Each Pinstripe head is made from two plies of 7-mil clear film, with an overtone-reducing layer between the plies. In normal playing terms, that means you get less unwanted ring, more attack, and a stronger, fatter tom sound.

The included 14" Coated Ambassador is a proper all-round snare head. It gives a warm, open tone with a bright attack and controlled sustain, making it suitable for everything from practice and rehearsal to live playing and recording.

Who Is This Pack For?

This pack is ideal for drummers using a kit with 10", 12" and 16" toms plus a 14" snare. That setup is common on rock, pop, fusion and general-purpose acoustic drum kits.

It is especially well suited to players who want their toms to sound more solid and controlled without completely killing the tone.
