Description

Vintage Zyn 15″ cymbal, made in England and dated circa 1950s–early 1960s based on the plain “ZYN – MADE IN ENGLAND” ink stamp and nickel-silver construction. At 1,050 g, it sits medium-thin for a quick, dry crash with a tidy ride response—great for smaller rooms and recording.

Key Features

  • Dated c.1950s–early 1960s (original Zyn line, not Super/5-Star)

  • 15″ diameter, measured 1,050 g

  • Nickel-silver alloy typical of base-line Zyn models

  • Small bell; broad machine lathing; controlled volume and short decay

  • Works as a light crash/ride or 15″ hi-hat top

Why Choose

Classic British Zyn character: focused attack, quick fall-off, and a wash that won’t swamp a mix. Easy to mic and blend for jazz, indie, acoustic, and studio settings.
