Pre-owned Yamaha SLG-120NW “Silent Guitar”, nylon-string, wide-neck model.

This instrument is in great playing condition and has just been serviced. Everything works exactly as it should. Cosmetically it’s very clean overall – the only noticeable wear is some light scratching around the jack socket area on the back. You can’t see it from the front when you’re playing.

It comes complete with the original Yamaha case, the original manual, and a free pair of headphones so you can plug in and play straight away.

The SLG-120NW is Yamaha’s wide-neck nylon Silent Guitar. It’s designed to give you authentic classical feel and scale length, but with almost no acoustic volume, plus full headphone monitoring and built-in effects. 

This is the model classical players, pit players and late-night practisers buy when they want a “real” neck and string spacing but need to keep the noise down.

• Play silently (nearly)
  Unplugged, the SLG is extremely quiet – roughly the level of an unplugged electric guitar, far below the volume of a normal classical. That means proper practice at home, in a hotel, backstage, or shared accommodation without annoying anyone. 

• Built-in headphone amp + effects
  You don’t need an external amp. Plug in headphones (we’re including a free pair), dial in volume, bass/treble EQ, and add Yamaha’s onboard digital reverb for an inspiring, “produced” sound straight in your ears. 

• Aux input = play along with tracks
  There’s an AUX IN with its own level control, so you can feed in a backing track, click, or lesson audio and monitor it alongside your guitar in headphones – perfect for practice and study. 

• Classical feel, proper wide neck
  The “NW” stands for nylon, wide neck. The SLG-120NW is built for classical hands – full 650 mm scale length and a classical-width nut (around 55 mm at the nut on this model), so you get correct left-hand spacing for fingerstyle and repertoire, not a squeezed “crossover” neck. 

• Travel-friendly frame
  The bass-side frame section is detachable, so the guitar packs down into the original Yamaha gig-style case and will fit easily in overhead-style storage. Way more portable than a full-depth classical. 

• Stage / recording ready
  You also get a standard line out, so you can run into an amp, PA, interface or looper. The onboard preamp (B-Band pickup system with Yamaha’s effects and EQ) gives you a controllable, feedback-resistant nylon tone for live use. 

• Looks like nothing else
  That rosewood/maple style frame, gold tuners with pearloid buttons and minimalist “skeleton” body is part modern sculpture, part classical instrument – it turns heads on stage.

• Condition: Pre-owned, great overall. Fully working, recently serviced.

• Cosmetics: Light scratches around the jack input on the back only. Front/playing side is very clean. No cracks, no structural issues. (Purely cosmetic and in a low-visibility area.)
