Pre-Owned Squier Telecaster by Fender – Korea S9 (1989)
Safe and secure checkout
This is a Korean-made Squier Telecaster by Fender with serial S982105 and “Made in Korea” stamped on the headstock. The S9 serial format is widely associated with Samick-built Squiers from 1989, making this a proper “player’s vintage” Tele-style guitar from the late ‘80s era.
Condition is good and fully working, with a professional setup already done. As you’d expect for the age, there are a couple of small dings/scuffs (see close-up photos), but nothing that affects playability.

Why choose this one?
If you want a Tele-style guitar with a bit of history, these late-’80s/early-’90s Korean Squiers are well known as solid, gig-ready instruments when properly set up. This one has the practical upgrades players actually want (notably the Gotoh tuners) plus the traditional feel of a brass-saddle Tele bridge. It’s a great choice for indie, punk, country, blues, or as a dependable “grab-and-go” stage guitar.
