Pre-Owned Sonitus Acoustics Kicker Bass Drum Muffler – 22" x 18"

If your bass drum has more ring than you need, the Sonitus Acoustics Kicker offers a straightforward way to bring it under control. This shaped foam insert sits inside the drum, helping to tame unwanted resonance and produce a tighter, more focused kick sound.

Sized for a 22" diameter × 18" deep bass drum, this Kicker is designed to contact both the batter and resonant heads. Its profiled polyester foam construction helps absorb muddy midrange frequencies while retaining low-end weight. Installation requires no glue or tape.

This is a pre-owned example in grey foam, with the white Kicker logo on one end. Please check the photographs for its cosmetic condition.

What Does It Sound Like?

Expect a more controlled bass drum response, with less lingering ring and a clearer, more defined attack. The final result depends on your drum, heads, tuning and how closely the foam fits against the heads.
