B-6 Pro represents the next level in wireless solutions for saxophones. The transmitter has a precision clamp that adjusts to fit the bell of a saxophone or trumpet. A flexible gooseneck microphone connects to the transmitter and locks in place to be directed for optimum sound pickup. The custom designed electret condenser capsule is mounted into a purpose-built suspension to avoid keying noise and unwanted resonant frequencies. When powered up, the transmitter auto-pairs with the rechargeable stomp-style floor receiver, which also doubles as a digital tuner, DI box and charging station for the transmitter. Wireless transmission is on the license-free 2.4GHz band with an all digital signal path and frequency hopping for continuous and reliable connection. 11 preset EQ profiles and 2 user-editable EQ settings are accessible from the colour on-screen menu, along with tuner display and wireless settings. The top mounted footswitch can be set to switch a signal boost, mute, the tuner or engage the send-return loop, and the footswitch also doubles as a rotary encoder for the onboard menus. Main output is via balanced XLR on the rear of the receiver, with additional send-return and output jacks and a USB-C port for updates and PC audio streaming.
