Mushroom Covers Vibraphone Covers are padded covers designed to protect 3.0, 3.1, 3.5 and 4 octave vibraphones.

They are made for schools, orchestras, music services, percussion departments, theatres and venues that need proper day-to-day protection for vibraphones when they are not being played. Vibraphones can be awkward to store safely, especially with the bars, frame and resonators exposed, so a properly fitted cover makes a big difference.

Each cover is made to fit a specific instrument, so the make and model of your vibraphone are needed before an order can be completed.

What Is It Actually For?

These covers are designed to protect vibraphones during storage and normal day-to-day use.

They help protect the instrument from dust, light knocks and general contact in rehearsal rooms, teaching spaces, stores and concert venues. The 22" / 56cm drop means the cover comes down far enough to protect the resonators as well as the top of the instrument.

They are not hard flight cases, so they are not intended as heavy-duty transport protection. They are padded instrument covers for practical everyday protection and storage.

Padded Protection

Each cover is fully padded to give the instrument a useful layer of protection.

This makes them much more substantial than a basic dust cover, especially for percussion departments where instruments are regularly moved, stored, covered and uncovered by different people.

There is also an optional Hi-Density foam top available for extra protection over the top of the instrument.
