Description

The Meinl MDHA Drum Honey Assortment is a 12-piece set of reusable gel damper pads designed to help control overtones, sustain and unwanted ring on drums and cymbals.

This assorted pack gives you three different pad sizes, so you can fine-tune how much damping you want. Use a smaller pad for subtle control, a medium pad for general damping, or a larger pad when you need a stronger effect.

The pads are easy to place, remove and reposition, making them a quick and practical alternative to tape, tissue or permanent damping.

What Do They Actually Do?

Drum Honey pads help reduce unwanted ring and shorten sustain.

On a snare drum, they can tighten the sound and reduce excess overtones. On toms, they can make the drum sound more controlled and focused. On cymbals, they can help reduce wash and create a drier response.

Because this is the assortment pack, you get more control over the amount of damping compared with using one standard pad size.

Why Choose the Assortment Pack?

The MDHA set gives you small, medium and large Drum Honey pads in one pack.

That makes it useful if you want to experiment with different levels of damping across a full kit. You might use a small pad on a snare, a medium pad on a tom and a larger pad on a cymbal or floor tom, depending on the sound you need.

It is a good choice for recording, live sound, rehearsal rooms and any setup where drum tone needs quick adjustment.

Who Is It For?

This pack is useful for drummers, students, teachers, studios, churches, rehearsal rooms, venues and live sound engineers.

It is especially handy for recording sessions and live situations where drums need to be controlled quickly without changing heads or using messy damping methods.

If you only need a basic set of standard-size pads, the regular Meinl Drum Honey pack may be enough. If you want more flexibility, the MDHA assortment is the better option.

Not Sure If These Are the Right Drum Dampers?

The Meinl MDHA Drum Honey Assortment is a good choice if you want flexible control over drum and cymbal overtones.

If you only need light damping, start with a small pad. If you need stronger control, try a larger pad or combine pads carefully. If you want one large single damper, compare with the Meinl Drum Honey Slab.
