The Gibraltar SC-19A is a pack of long 8mm cymbal sleeves with integrated seats, designed to fit cymbal stand tilters with 8mm threaded posts.
These small parts do an important job. They sit between the cymbal and the metal tilter post, helping reduce metal-on-metal contact, friction and wear. If a cymbal sleeve is missing, cracked or worn down, replacing it is a simple way to help protect your cymbals and keep your stand working properly.
This long sleeve version is useful for extended-length cymbal tilters and Gibraltar-style setups that need a taller cymbal sleeve and seat.
What Is It Actually For?
A cymbal sleeve helps protect the centre hole of your cymbal from rubbing directly against the metal threaded post on the cymbal stand.
Without a sleeve, cymbals can become damaged around the mounting hole over time, which can lead to keyholing and extra wear. The SC-19A gives the cymbal a safer contact point and also acts as the cymbal seat.
It is a cheap but useful spare to keep in a drum hardware bag.

The Gibraltar SC-19A is designed for 8mm cymbal stand tilters.
Please check the thread/post size on your cymbal stand before ordering. Some stands use different sizes, so this part may not fit every cymbal stand.
