Product Details
This Classic Maple Bass Drum Beater from Danmar is ideal if you need a decent amount of sound, power and force from your bass drum. An american brand, Danmar deliver quality products that have star quality lovingly bundled into each product. How do we know this? Because founder, Frank DeVito was once a drummer to the stars! That's right DeVito played alongside The Beach Boys, Sonny and Cher and Frank Sinatra to name but a few, therefore he knows exactly what it takes to cut it with the big boys and this is inevitably transferred into each and every one of his products.
Crafted using Maple the all purpose hardwood that like many other woods has the ability to produce tremendous sounds and some serious oomph. This beautiful hardwood which is complimented by a chrome shaft which would sit well with existing chrome hardware. This beater also produces a lot of 'click' sounds ideal if you are trying to be heard over a composite of sound. It is essential that you have a wooden beater within your drumming essentials, it provides you with an altogether different sound to felt or leather beaters and must be heard to be believed.
