D'Addario XT High-Density Extended Range Classical Guitar Single Strings

Built for 7 and 8-string classical guitars, XT High Density strings pair D'Addario's advanced Dynacore multifilament cores and high-density alloys to deliver optimized tension, note clarity, and dynamic projection for extended-range classical guitar players. This new string design offers a powerful yet balanced low-end that stays articulate and responsive, at the right tension, while our XT coating provides extended string life and a natural feel.

Engineered in our in‑house Innovation Lab, High‑Density strings use advanced high‑density alloys to deliver ideal tension for lower tunings—without sacrificing clarity. They remain articulate, controlled, and balanced across the entire set, enabling extended‑range electric and classical guitarists to unlock the full potential of their instruments and tunings
