CHAUVET Professional Cloud 9 Low-Lying Fog Machine (CLOUD9)
Safe and secure checkout
The CHAUVET Professional Cloud 9 is a high-output low-lying fog machine designed to create a thick rolling ground fog effect without using dry ice or CO₂. It’s built for large stages, theatres, live performance, themed environments, and event work where you need that classic “dancing on a cloud” look.
Because it doesn’t require special consumables like dry ice or CO₂, you avoid licensing / handling restrictions. The unit only needs distilled water and fog / haze fluid to generate a continuous low fog layer.
Cloud 9 ships already built into a rugged flight case with locking castors, metal grab handles, and a hinged lid, so it’s ready for touring and can even run in the case.
Typical warm-up time is around 3–4 minutes from cold, so it’s fast to deploy on-site.
Key Features
-
Professional low-lying fog effect for stage, ballrooms, catwalks, first dances and reveal moments
-
Continuous output rated up to approx. 15,000 cfm, covering around 3,230 ft² / 300 m² at full output
-
Uses ultrasonic agitation to mix distilled water with fog fluid and keep the fog hugging the floor
(no chiller/compressor block, no CO₂, no dry ice) -
Built-in road case with locking castors and hinged top cover – designed for rental/hire use and fast load-ins
-
Onboard LCD control plus simple 2-channel DMX (fan speed and fog output) for show control
-
Integrated water drain system for quicker pack-down and maintenance
-
Can run continuously for long cues (up to two hours at 100% output in spec conditions)
-
Supplied with directional hose, clamp, and Seetronic Powerkon IP65 mains leads
Why Choose the Cloud 9
Traditional “dry ice” type low foggers can be expensive to operate, need special handling, and often can’t run for long without refilling. Cloud 9 gives you a similar floor-hugging look but uses standard fog / haze fluids plus water, so it’s easier for production companies to deploy repeatedly on tours, corporate events, themed attractions and weddings.
Because it’s road-cased, wheeled, DMX controllable, and fast to heat, it fits straight into hire stock or venue in-house inventory without extra cradles or dollies. The integrated ID hose lets you direct the fog where you want it (e.g. across a stage apron, down a catwalk, or onto a dance floor) rather than letting it spill randomly.
