Ahead 14" x 6" Black Chrome on Brass Snare Drum with Brunson Lugs is a Special Order item that has just landed at Drum Shop. A decent size, the 14" x 6" snare will fit in effortlessly amongst your other drums, but it is sure to stand out mainly because of it's brassy base. Brass shells produce open mids, lows and highs, as well as delivering warm and vibrant tones that are clearly lively. Featuring Brunson Lugs, a compact and light lug that has been named after their designer, Scott Brunson. Created using aerospace-grade aluminium they fix to the round studs which sit on the shell. Brunson Lugs are said to compensate for any misalignment of the hoop or tensions rods. Another feature is the Fat Cat Dual Adjustable Snappy Snare Wires, which deliver a sensitive yet professional sound that professional drummers want, need and demand. Complete with Remo USA Heads, TightScrew Tension Rods for perfect tuning and an 8 lug S-Hoop counter hoop which has the power to deliver substantial, meaty rim shots. Not only do you get all of that when you buy this Ahead Snare Drum, also included is a Dunnett R4 Throw-off features an adjustable lever that has a quick release mechanism and is small and lightweight, allowing for great back off prevention.
