About Andy Barclay:
Andy Barclay is one of the UK’s leading orchestral percussionists and has been the principal percussionist of the London Philharmonic Orchestra since 1995. A graduate of the Royal College of Music, his career spans performances with the Philharmonia Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra, BBC Symphony Orchestra, and more. His work includes major film soundtracks such as Harry Potter, The Hobbit, and The Lord of the Rings, as well as numerous West End shows. As an educator, he holds teaching roles at the Royal Academy of Music and Royal College of Music, and has worked with the National Youth Orchestra and European Union Youth Orchestra.
