The Meinl Sonic Energy CH-TT38 38" Chau Tam Tam is a large handcrafted bronze alloy gong designed for sound baths, meditation, yoga studios, therapy rooms, schools, studios and percussion use. Sitting between the 36" and 40" models, it offers a deep, powerful and room-filling response while still being slightly easier to handle than the largest 44" and 48" tam tams.

Handcrafted in China using traditional gong-making methods, the CH-TT38 produces a wide range of tones, from soft sustained low sounds to slow-building swells, darker resonance and powerful crash-like accents. It works well as a centrepiece gong or alongside singing bowls, chimes, handpans, other gongs and percussion instruments.

Each tam tam is supplied with a size-matched beater and protective cover, giving you the essentials for playing, storage and careful transport.
