The Meinl Sonic Energy CH-TT26 26" Chau Tam Tam is a handcrafted bronze alloy gong designed for sound baths, meditation, yoga studios, therapy rooms, schools, studios and percussion use. Sitting between the 24" and 28" models, it offers a fuller response than smaller gongs while still being easier to manage than the larger 30"+ tam tams.

Handcrafted in China using traditional gong-making methods, the CH-TT26 produces a wide spread of tones, from soft sustained low sounds to slow-building swells, darker resonance and powerful crash-like accents. It works well on its own or alongside singing bowls, chimes, handpans, other gongs and percussion instruments.
