The Percussion Plus World Slap Djembe 15 Pack is a ready-made classroom percussion set designed for schools, music services and group teaching.
With 15 rope-tuned djembes spread across four different sizes, the pack gives you a useful mix of pitches and tones for ensemble work. The smaller drums provide a brighter, more immediate sound, while the larger 10" and 12" models bring plenty of depth and bass to the group.
Each djembe features Percussion Plus’ instructional drumhead, showing players where to strike for the main bass, tone and slap sounds. It’s a simple idea, but particularly useful when teaching a full class where students need to get playing quickly.
The rope-tuned design gives these drums a more traditional playing feel while still using a tough synthetic construction suited to regular school use. Lightweight PVC shells make them easier to move around the classroom, while the Mylar synthetic heads are designed to cope with changes in temperature and humidity better than traditional natural skins.
