Billy Morley - Store Manager

Billy studied Popular Music and Recording at Salford University. He has played in multiple original bands and jazz combo bands and has a background in sound engineering and studio recording. Billy also has an extensive history in music retail.

Billy is a keen plant enthusiast who enjoys gigging and traveling.

Andrew Lucas - Retail

Andy has a rich background with the Salvation Army, working as a peripatetic percussion teacher and brass band & ensemble conductor. He has performed with multiple cover bands, tribute bands, and jazz ensembles.

Andy is part of the shop staff and serves as the Head of Vintage Spares.

Andy enjoys running, music, antiques, and foreign holidays.

Andy once played on the Chris Evans Show in the 00s. Also, after a show as Ringo in a Beatles tribute act, he was standing up to take a bow and inadvertently pushed his stool back When he went to sit down, it wasn’t there! The band only saw two feet from behind the riser, but fortunately, Andy wasn’t harmed.

Ed Hayes - Hire

Ed has a rich background in brass banding and function bands. He holds a Grade 8 in Jazz Clarinet and has been part of the National Youth Brass Band of Wales. He also has a BA Honours in Creative Sound and Music.

Ed serves as the in-house guitar and instrument technician, hire staff, backline technician, and sound technician.

Ed is passionate about woodworking and enjoys making things from wood.

Rob Bull - Hire

Experience and Background:
Rob has been playing drums since the age of 7 and violin since the age of 6. He holds a Bachelor of Music with honors from RWCMD and has experience in event management for the student’s union. Rob has also worked as a touring backline technician on multiple shows.
Role and Responsibilities:
As a member of the hire staff, Rob preps and maintains hire stock, serves as a technician for on-site jobs, works as one of the sound engineers, and assists as a stage hand and AV tech.
Personal Interests and Hobbies:
Rob enjoys playing drums, cars (his dream car is a 911 Turbo S), and food.

Drums, specifically the Yamaha Recording Custom set (10, 12, 14, 20 in walnut).
