Description

The E13 is legendary for a reason. Often referred to as the best advancing clarinet on the market. There's a reason the Buffet E13 is found in conservatoires and orchestras all over the world.

It's the clarinet you can rely on to perform day-in, day-out. That reliability comes from the supreme quality and consistency of the E13's construction. Meticulously crafted from Tanzanian grenadilla wood and assembled by hand in France, the E13 has all the technical characteristics of a much more expensive instrument. Boasting leather pads, blue steel springs, and a silver plated mechanism, you know the E13 is built to last.

To ensure you purchase the best possible instrument, Buffet has recently upgraded the E13 to include the same bell as the professional RC clarinet. Providing more projection and brightness to the sound, this bell will enhance your tone while enabling you to confidently master the clarinet.

Buffet E13

The initial designs of the E13 clarinet were first drawn up 40 years ago. Since then, the design has been perfected over the years to produce the instrument that everyone now loves. It's this perfected design that has enabled the E13 to be used in music schools and wind orchestras all over the world. All Buffet clarinets come with a wealth of knowledge and experience from some of the finest craftsmen in the world.

The E13 is a professional standard instrument, at a budget-friendly price. The E13 is made from Tanzanian grenadilla wood and is manufactured in the Buffet workshop in France. Already popular for its professional design, the E13 now introduces a new bell, inherited from the popular RC. This bell is capable of producing bright sounds with great projection.

Grenadilla Wood Body

Unlike other models, the E13 features an African Blackwood (otherwise known as Grenadilla) body. The benefit from this wood body is the unprecedented tone, which is favoured by all professional musicians and has been the professional's choice of wood for decades.

Keys and Mechanisms

The Buffet E13 clarinet has a simple design featuring the standard 17 keys and 6 rings. All keywork is silver plated, which is long lasting and ergonomic, enabling ease of play for all clarinetists. This combined with an adjustable thumb rest, makes the E13 very nice to play. All tone holes have been undercut and combined with leather pads, creating a great seal with better intonation and tonal character.

Everything You Need

Included with the Buffet E13 is a range of accessories to help you start playing straight away. The included Buffet Crampon gig bag perfectly combines style and protection. It even features a large pocket ideal for sheet music. Also included is a mouthpiece, ligature, and reed.
